The Center for Credentialing & Education (CCE) is a not-for-profit organization with the mission of advancing professional excellence by providing practitioners and organizations with assessments, business and licensure support services, and credentialing. Created in 1995 as an affiliate of the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC), CCE credentials more than 25,000 practitioners globally in a variety of fields.

With more than 60,000 National Certified Counselors (NCCs) worldwide, the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) is the largest not-for-profit professional counselor certification organization. NBCC provides support and services to counselors who voluntarily earn the certification. NBCC has a proven record of supporting, sustaining and advancing the counseling profession worldwide.
